Peter
Brooke-Ball's sculpture has evolved from his love of stone and wood
and his affinity with its sensual tension. The clean lines of both
sculptures and drawings are undeniably contemporary but the power
and eroticism of the work is timeless. As a sculptor and as a painter,
Peter has always focused on texture and tension, balance and improbability,
developing and exploring these themes over the years. Consummately
tactile, the work sings.
